No Referendum, No Election Campaign: How Radio Biafra Internet Broadcasting Mobilized IPOB Worldwide during the 2019 Nigerian Election

In the buildup of 2019 general election in Nigeria, there were tensions Southeastern part country over clamours for boycott campaign initiated by leader Indigenous People Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, requesting that a referendum should hold region purpose secession rather than conduct an area. This drew critical attention nationwide and diaspora as some rose to condemn call while supported move. Few days election, polity was heated up whether Southeasterners will heed clarion or not with IPOB foot soldiers on ground driving threating mayhem anyone who come out vote until “Supreme Leader” called off 24 hours total compliance suspension region. could have been possible without effectiveness Radio Internet broadcasting.
